The relatively compact and lightweight mid-engined M12 GTO is powered by a Ford V6 engine equipped with two watercooled Garrett turbochargers. The 310bhp Mondeo-derived engine rockets the South African built car from 0 – 60 mph in under 4 seconds.
Mid mounted, transverse, 2968cc, 6 cylinders in vee, twin turbo chargers, water cooled with air to air intercooler, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, all alloy block and heads, electronic ignition, rear wheel drive.
